Share your event: link, QR code and poster
All the ways to get responses, and which works best where.
Open your event and find the Share card.
- Feedback link: the full, readable link. Great for emails and social posts.
- Short link: e.g.
/q/7Kp2xQ. Best for slides, SMS and saying out loud. Capital letters don't matter, so/q/7kp2xqworks too. - QR code: download as SVG (sharp at any size, for print) or PNG.
- WhatsApp, X, LinkedIn and email buttons with a ready-made message.
- Print poster, table tent or cards: A4/Letter, ready to print or save as PDF.
At the venue
Put the QR code on your first and last slide, on the tables and at the door. In presenter mode the QR code and short link stay on screen.
Online events
Paste the short link in the chat, or embed the widget next to your livestream.
Tip: If you change the event's link name later, old links and printed QR codes keep working. To stop an old link working (say, it was shared somewhere it shouldn't be), tick Stop old links working when you change the link name: old addresses then show "not found", while the QR code and short link keep working.
Unlisted events always get a link that ends in a random part, so it can't be guessed from the title. Addresses that don't exist are rate limited, so nobody can try link after link to find one. If someone on a shared Wi-Fi tries too many, addresses are paused for that network for a few minutes. The QR code always gets through, and so does anyone who has already opened the event; people typing the short link may have to wait a few minutes, so put the QR code on screen too.
