Embed on your website or livestream
Put your question box or live poll on any website, blog or beside a YouTube/Zoom stream.
On your event page, find Embed on a website.
- Choose what to show: everything (question box or poll, plus audience questions), just the question box / poll, just the audience questions, or live results only (polls).
- Choose colours: match the visitor's device, light or dark.
- Copy code and paste it into your website's HTML (most website builders have an "Embed" or "Custom HTML" block).
The widget resizes to fit. It has the same spam protection and anonymity as your normal event page, and never shows ads or tracking.
Tip: Use Preview to check how it looks before pasting.
Which websites can show it
So nobody can put your event inside their own page to trick people into voting or reacting, the widget only appears on the websites it's meant for:
- Public event without an event code: any website.
- Unlisted event, or one with an event code: none, until you list them.
- Your own list: in your event's Settings, add the addresses under Websites that can embed this event — one per line, starting with
https://and without a page path (for examplehttps://example.com).https://*.example.comcovers all its subdomains. Up to 10 sites. When you list sites, only those can show the widget, whatever the event's other settings.
If the widget shows a blank box or a "refused to connect" message on your site, add your site's address to that list.
