Teams
Share all your organisation's events with colleagues.
A team is for organisations that run many events, such as churches, schools and conference companies.
- Go to Teams → New team.
- Invite members and choose a role: Admin (everything, including people and billing), Editor or Moderator.
- Create events in the team (Create in on the new event form), or move an existing event from its People card.
Every team event is shared with every member by their team role. Team admins set the team's billing details used on invoices.
Moving events in and out
Only an event's owner can move it into a team (where they're an admin or editor). Taking an event out of a team, back to personal or into another team, also needs the owner to be an admin of the team it's in. So a team's events stay with the team unless their owner is one of its admins.
When someone leaves
When a member leaves the team or a team admin removes them, they lose access to its events. Team events they created don't leave with them: the team admin who removed them becomes the owner (if they left on their own, another team admin does). Each handover is recorded in the audit log, and reminder emails for those events then go to the new owner. Co-hosts they invited to any of the team's events are removed, and public results links they could have copied get a new address (share the new one again if you need it). Team admins can see the link of every team event, so when a team admin leaves, every team event's results link gets a new address.
Good to know: a team always keeps at least one admin, even if two admins change each other's roles at the same moment.
